Hoad Fabrics has supplied curtain fabric across Australia and New Zealand for more than 90 years, and Gummerson is its core decorator collection. The library spans translucent sheers, linens and linen looks, wide-width triple weaves, coated blockouts, acoustic softweaves for media rooms and a group of collections woven in Victoria. We bring the Gummerson hangers to your home so weight, texture and colour are judged in your own light.

What is the difference between Gummerson and Hoad?+
Hoad Fabrics is the company and Gummerson is its main decorator curtain collection. You may see either name on a hanger; we carry both.
Are any Gummerson fabrics made in Australia?+
Yes. Hoad offers collections that are made in Victoria, which we can point out during your consultation if local manufacture matters to you.
Do you have acoustic fabrics for a media room?+
Yes. Gummerson softweave and acoustic-rated fabrics add body and soften sound, and can be lined for full blockout.
Who makes the curtains?+
Every Gummerson curtain we supply is cut, sewn and finished in our Jindalee workroom, then installed by the Prestige team.
