Shaw of Australia has supplied wide-width fabric to the window furnishing trade since 1948. Its performance range covers blockout, light-filtering, sunscreen and drapery fabrics, used mainly for roller, Roman and panel glide blinds. Collections such as Karma, Le Reve, Mantra, Linesque, Palm Beach, Skye and Vibe offer a calm palette of neutrals and textures, and Aventus sunscreens come in 3, 5 and 10 percent openness for view and glare control.

Are Shaw fabrics for curtains or blinds?+
Mainly blinds. Shaw specialises in performance fabrics for roller, Roman and panel glide blinds, with a smaller drapery group. For curtains we usually look to the other houses in our library.
What does sunscreen openness mean?+
The percentage describes how open the weave is. A 3 percent screen gives more privacy and glare control, while 10 percent keeps more of the view.
Can Shaw blinds be motorised?+
Yes. ShawSmart motors, Automate and Alpha motors can all be specified with Shaw fabrics. We plan the motor and power method before the blind is made.
Who makes the blinds?+
Shaw blinds are made to our measurements and installed by the Prestige team in Brisbane.
